Digital Certificates

Attention:

The LIP certification authority is being smoothly phased out. Requests for digital certificates both user and server should be directed to the Géant TCS service currently provided by Sectigo.

Sectigo website (please select the option GÉANT Personal Authentication)

Instructions to request certificate at Sectigo:

1) Login selecting LIP as institutions and LIP Account credentials (username/password)

2) Choose certificate options:
Certificate Profile → GÉANT Personal Authentication
Term → 365 Days
Enrollment Method → Key Generation
Key Type → RSA-4096
Write a password (DON'T use the LIP account password)
key protection algorithm → Secure AES256-SHA256

3) Check "I have read and agree to the terms of the EULA"
4) Click "Submit" button
