Digital Certificates
Digital certificate requests for users should be submitted through the Géant TCS service.
In the provider website (please select the option GÉANT Personal Authentication)
Instructions to request certificate:
1) Login using the button "Academic Login" and search for "LIP Laboratório" and select it as institution and authenticate with LIP Account credentials (username/password)
2) Select at the left menu the option "IGTF Client Auth"
3) Select "GÉANT Personal Authentication" and then click "Next" Button
4) check the box to confirm you data and click the button "Submit Request"
5) In you dashboard you have your certificate, now you must click the button "Enroll your Certificate" and
Choose certificate options:
- Generate Certificate (Generate your certificate in .p12 format.)
- Algorithm → ECDSA
- Key size → 256 (default)
- Set a passphrase (DON'T use the LIP account password)
- Confirm passphrase
- check the box "I understand that this passphrase is under my sole knowledge and HARICA does not have access to it."
- Click the button "Enroll Certificate"
