"João Pino Gonçalves defended his PhD thesis on gravitational and collider observables in beyond-the-Standard-Model scenarios"


On 9 January 2026, João Pino Gonçalves, a member of LIP’s Phenomenology group, successfully defended his PhD thesis, “Gravitational and collider observables in BSM models.”

The defence took place before a jury composed of José Pedro (Chair, University of Aveiro), Margarete Mühlleitner (KIT), Matthew McCullough (CERN), Liliana Apolinário (LIP and IST), Miguel Zilhão (CIDMA and University of Aveiro), with António Morais (LIP and University of Minho) as supervisor.
